The Challenge
Bodiology Sussex is one of Eastbourne's most established beauty and wellness destinations, with over seven years of trading history and a reputation built on genuine care for their clients. The business had grown significantly over that time, but their website had not kept pace.
The site had been built on Wix and updated gradually over the years as the business evolved. The problem with that approach is that template platforms have a ceiling. The longer you build on them, the more the structural limitations start to show. Content that had been added piecemeal over seven years had created a site that was difficult to navigate, visually inconsistent, and hard to organise in a way that made sense to new visitors.
The site was receiving around 200 visitors per month, which showed there was genuine interest and search visibility already in place. But the website itself was not doing justice to the quality of the business behind it. Visitors were landing on a page that did not reflect the professionalism, warmth or breadth of what Bodiology Sussex actually offers.
The goal was not a refresh. It was a complete rebuild, starting from scratch on a platform without limitations, and creating something that finally matched the standard of the business it represented.
Our Approach
We began by going back to basics. Rather than trying to salvage the existing structure, we reviewed all of the existing content with fresh eyes, identifying what information was most important to visitors and how it could be organised more logically and effectively.
From that foundation we designed a full visual mockup of the new site, mapping out the page structure, navigation, layout and user journey before any development began. Presenting the design to the client at this stage meant nothing was built until Bodiology Sussex had seen it, shaped it, and were genuinely happy with the direction.
Once the design was signed off we rebuilt the website from the ground up on Framer, removing every limitation the previous platform had imposed. The new site was structured around the visitor experience first, making it easy for someone arriving for the first time to understand exactly what the salon offers, find the treatment they are looking for, and take the next step with confidence.
Throughout the build the priority was clarity, consistency, and creating a visual presentation that finally did justice to a business with seven years of hard earned reputation behind it.
The Result
The new Bodiology Sussex website presents the business in a way the old site never could. Information is structured logically, the design is clean and consistent, and visitors can navigate the site and understand the full range of services without friction.
With the constraints of the old Wix template gone entirely, Bodiology Sussex now has a website built on a proper foundation that can grow and evolve with the business rather than working against it.
The results spoke for themselves almost immediately. Within the first month of launching the new website, Bodiology Sussex received 1,300 page views which is a 550% increase, a significant jump from the 200 monthly visitors the old site was attracting. Alongside that, their Google Business Profile activity increased by 30 percent, meaning more local people were finding the business, clicking through, and engaging with it in a meaningful way.
The improved structure means that traffic is no longer being wasted. Visitors who land on the site now find a page that engages them properly, builds trust, and guides them confidently towards getting in touch.
