These terms cover how we work together, from quotes and payment to ownership once a project is complete. Last updated September 2026.
Who we are
Koprio is a trading name of Koprio Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 16 South Street, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN21 4XF. These terms apply whenever you engage us for SEO, paid advertising, social media management, email marketing, website design or ecommerce services.
Quotes and agreements
Any quote we provide is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work begins once you've confirmed you'd like to go ahead and, where applicable, the initial payment has been received. Website packages are priced as advertised on our Website Packages pages; ecommerce builds are quoted individually once we understand your requirements.
Payment terms
For website design projects, we require 50% payable upfront, with the remaining 50% due on completion, before the site goes live. For ongoing services such as SEO, paid advertising, social media or email marketing, fees are billed monthly in advance. Late payment may result in work being paused until the account is settled.
Website ownership and hosting
Once a website project is paid in full, you own the finished site. A monthly plan covering hosting and small ongoing updates is available but optional, with no minimum term. If you choose not to take the monthly plan, or later decide to stop it, the site is handed over for you to arrange your own hosting. For Ecommerce builds, this may include taking over the Shopify subscription and any related app licences directly.
Content and third party material
Where you provide your own text, images or other content for us to use, you confirm you have the right to use it and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. Some packages include stock imagery, fonts or third party plugins licensed to us; ownership of these remains with their original licensors, and continued use may depend on keeping any associated subscription active.
Cancellations
You can cancel an ongoing monthly service at any time, with no minimum term, by giving us notice in writing. For website design projects, if you decide not to proceed after work has started, the upfront payment covers the work completed to that point and is non-refundable.
Limitation of liability
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill, but we can't guarantee specific outcomes such as search rankings, ad performance or sales figures, since these depend on factors outside our control. Our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you've paid us for that service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page, and we'll let existing clients know if a change materially affects an ongoing agreement.
